BLOG POST FREQUENCY VS CONTENT QUALITY, WHICH IS MUCH IMPORTANT?

I've been very busy in the past few weeks. I have two other blogs and I do not have the luxury of time to update them every week. I feel bad, because, I can't post everyday, or as often as I want, just like before. But, the question here is, how often should we really update our blogs? Is it really important to post updates everyday or should we just wait until we finish writing a quality content? How do Search Engines see our blogs? Is it much valuable if it's being updated everyday? These are my questions as well. I guess, we need some help from an SEO guru...

BLOG POST FREQUENCY VS CONTENT QUALITY VIDEO

I guess, I found the answer from Matt Cutts himself. So, if we are thinking about site visitors or people, post frequency might help. Since, regular site visitors do not want to see the same page over and over again. People wants to see fresh contents. But, I guess, what Matt Cutts is suggesting; whatever we are writing, the Content should be unique and full of quality. And, not just something that we rush. Now, if we are thinking about the  Search Engines, the SE's value the blog contents more, than the frequency of the blog post. This post is not to encourage anyone to stop posting everyday, but, rather to encourage everyone to write fresh and quality blog post that will help users and will be valuable for Search Engines at the same time. Let's remember the Golden Rule of SEO; that Content is KING! If you like this post, please, don't forget to subscribe below. Thank you!

I post two articles a week on my personal blog and I am happy to see that I have avid readers who are always read and leave comment on my articles. What am I aiming for? Quality and Original content

I go for quality content posted at regular frequency (every other day for me). Regular updates to have readers know when to come back and quality contents for search engines to send visitors to my blog.

I will go for Content Quality which is timeless. You will target both search engine and readers :)

Wish I could do both consistently.

Hi JoMi, I'm getting a lot of guest posters to fill the void in terms of frequency on my WordPress blog. But even for their posts, I've very concerned with the level of quality. I'm like you and I have a couple other blogs that I don't update as often.
Thanks for sharing the vid.

I would prefer to write three quality posts a week instead of 5-7 quick ones. I notice that my longer posts get shared a lot more than my shorter ones.

I like the animated you on the sidebar. :)

Ok to ah. So dapat pala frequent pero high quality yung contents. kasi blog updates are for readers at yung high quality contents are for search engines. :-)

well I agree that you shouldn't rely on just quality too. Seeing the same page over and over again for a long time is really disturbing.

Thanks for sharing this! :)

Ever since I started blogging, I've been following the quality side of it (as far as I'm concerned, at least) ... but as for frequency, unfortunately, I don't have the luxury of time ...
