NEW FACEBOOK WITH SKYPE'S VIDEO CALLING OR CHAT FEATURE UPDATE

Another breaking news, an UPDATE from FACEBOOK's CEO MARK ZUCKERBERG, as he fulfills his promise a week ago, that Facebook would be announcing "something awesome". Then, just after a week when GOOGLE announced its New Social Network, GOOGLE PLUS! FACEBOOK CEO Mark Zuckerberg and SKYPE CEO Tony Bates, announced the new FACEBOOK WITH SKYPE'S VIDEO CHAT OR FEATURE! This new update will allow user's to talk Face to Face over the Internet on their computers, laptops, notebooks or tablets!

FACEBOOK WITH SKYPE'S VIDEO CALLING OR CHAT FEATURE

This is probably the answer of FACEBOOK to its New competitor, GOOGLE PLUS (GOOGLE+)! Would this really stop the threat of GOOGLE+, I don't think so. Although, there are around 750 Million active users of Facebook around the globe. It is promised to be rolling out this coming Wednesday, so, let's all watch out for it! By the way, this new FACEBOOK SKYPE's Video Calling Feature does not currently allow group Video chats, unlike the GOOGLE+ called "Hangouts", it allows several people to do a video conference at a time. I just hope that this will not cause any server lag or timeouts on Facebook's server, for we all know that Facebook is still on the number one spot of the Social Networking world!

@EngrMoks -Yep, I think he also thought that It could be a major threat, if they won't think of new ideas to beat the GOOGLE+. Of course, they don't wanna be left behind, like what happened to Friendster. Tnx for dropping by! =)

This isn't the first time a social network has teamed up with Skype. If you can still recall in 2007, Myspace who boasted 110 million users that time joined with Skype to provide free Internet phone calls to MySpace members. But MySpace was sold late last month for a fraction of what News Corp. paid for it in 2005.
