MY GOOGLE ADSENSE APPLICATION JOURNEY

First of all, I want to thank the LORD for this blessing! Yes, my Google AdSense Account just got approved! Woot, wooot, woooootttt! After all of the hard work and time that I spent on this, I finally got it! What I want to share with you would be my experience or "journey" during my Google AdSense Application. I am pretty sure that there are also other individuals or companies who had issues with their Google AdSense Application. So, you might find this article a bit helpful, so check this out!

MY GOOGLE ADSENSE APPLICATION JOURNEY

When I started blogging a few months ago. I really didn't know that there are so many ways for a blogger to earn some bucks. I have a decent job, that pays the bill. However, earning extra would be a huge help for my growing family!

My brother said to me that I could get most out of my spare time and Internet connection, If I start blogging. So, that's what I did. The first time I applied for Google AdSense was just basically an accident. Out of curiousity, I applied for an AdSense account without consulting my brother. After few days, I received this First e-mail:

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. Unfortunately, after
reviewing your application, we're unable to accept you into Google
AdSense at this time.

We did not approve your application for the reasons listed below.

Issues:

- Page type

---------------------

Further detail:

Page type: Your website is a type of website that we do not currently
accept into our program. Such websites include, but are not limited to,
chat sites, sites that drive traffic through cybersquatting, and sites
that use excessive keywords in the content or code of their pages.
---------------

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense Team

It was January 29, 2011 when I got it on my mailbox. I wasn't really expecting anything, since my site was still under construction, and I wrote my very first article on January 23, 2011. So, It was just few days after I started blogging. Then, I started writing articles again, and I waited for a few months. I've spent most of my spare time on making friends with the other bloggers. And, studying basic blogging and SEO. Just last March, I started sending my application again. You can read my articles about "GOOGLE ADSENSE: DIFFICULT SITE NAVIGATION" and "GOOGLE ADSENSE: UNSUPPORTED LANGUAGE".

And, just this Afternoon. After discussing the Issue on the GOOGLE AdSense Forum, we finally got our AdSense application approved!!! Here's the e-mail:

Congratulations!

Your Google AdSense application has been approved. To activate your
account and get started with AdSense, follow the steps below. Or, for
a detailed walkthrough of everything you need to know as a new AdSense
publisher.

WHAT I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT GOOGLE ADSENSE?

1. There are LIVE PERSON on Google AdSense Forum. I didn't know that despite of GOOGLE ADSENSE not having an e-mail, chat or voice support. They actually have an AdSense Pro and Top Contributors on AdSense Forum who could really help.

2. They could do a "MANUAL REVIEW". With the previous error that I got before during my application journey, like the "DIFFICULT SITE NAVIGATION" and "UNSUPPORTED LANGUAGE". If it's just a template or crawler bot issue, they could actually do a "MANUAL REVIEW". A live person will take time visiting your site and checking out the issue you have. And, possibly fix it for you, before you start going nuts! Hehehe! =)

3. It is not possible to replace your main Gmail account, with another Gmail Account for your Google AdSense. So, once you submitted an application to Google Adsense, the Gmail Account that you did put in, would be the same Gmail Account that would be attached with your Publisher ID. But, Yes, you can still create an alternate 3rd party e-mail account, as long as it's not associated with any of your other Google AdSense or Gmail Acounts. This is what happened to me, when I got the e-mail that my application was not approved due to "UNSUPPORTED LANGUAGE" a week ago, my publisher account on blogger.com got disabled at the same time. So, what I did is, I tried creating a new gmail account, just for the sake of re-submitting my application. Unfortunately, that same gmail account got turned down as well. So, I've got two gmail or blogger username account that got rejected.  The old one, and the new gmail account that I just recently created. So, the time that we posted the questions on AdSense Forum, when AdSense Pro came to the rescue. Unfortunately, the first gmail or blogger username account that I applied was disapproved. And, the 2nd one that I just created to re-submit my application was the one who actually got approved. To give you a brief background, here's the LINK of the conversation we had on Google Forum: CLICK ME

I know that my Google AdSense Application Journey stops right here. But, this could be just the beginning of my blogging and my money making on-line career! To all of my friends, thank you so much for the time you spent, for the help and encouragement! TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!!! =)

I had no trouble with Google Adsense. All I did was to create an account with Google, have my blog verified and then created a campaign from Google Adsense and it gave me a code, and that's it.

Hi, Marie! I went to your blog, it's very cool! Just write more articles. Google Top Contributors and AdSense Employee said to me before, that a blog should be at least, 4-6 months old, with 4-6 months worth of blogs. I am also a newbie, just like you, I started blogging just this year, in the month of January to be exact. I went through difficulties when I started applying for my AdSense account. But, I didn't quit, since my brother is already earning more than $1,000 a month. Not Bad, right?! Just post your questions here If ever you get any problems again with AdSense. I'll be glad to help! =)

@Whatswithjeff -Tnx jeff, before I got approved, it really took some time, and a little headache, hehehe! I'm also a newbie, just started December last year. I'm still learning, and studying some basic SEO. Happy blogging! =)

@isp101
Sir do you have ebooks or references that you could share to help improve my knowledge in SEO? I'm still a newbie when it comes to SEO.

Jeff said...

Hi isp101.
How where you able to get PR of 2-3 in a matter of few months? Can you share your technique?

What'S Latest said...

first of all CONGRATULATION and Thank u very MUCH for sharing your journey with us. The same thing also happen 2 me. Hope my application will approved soon.....

@Jeff -Hi, Jeff! Thank you so much for the compliments. If you really want to get high PR in just a few months, you really have to write quality articles and study about basic SEO. You don't have to be a genius to learn those. I can't really explain everything here, so If you really want, you can email me by going to the CONTACT ME tab on top. Once I receive your email, I can email you the SEO articles I gathered from different high ranking pages. Files are on PDF, you can read it on your spare time. And, apply it on your blogs, as you learn it... Have a great day! =)

@What's Latest -By the way, I forgot to tell you, it's important for you to have a tab or link for "ABOUT ME" and "PRIVACY POLICY", Google are very strict now when it comes to approving publishers for advertisements. So, you might consider that, as much as possible, make it look like more of a "PERSONAL BLOG", since, you are still applying. I'm pretty sure that you'll get your application approved in no time! Thank you for dropping by! =)
