HOW TO PROPERLY RESTART YOUR HOME OR OFFICE LOCAL NETWORK?

It is always best to try this step before calling your Internet Service Provider (ISP). WHY? This will save your time and effort! You might have heard of this when you are calling your ISP Hotline, while you are on hold and waiting for a live person to answer. You might say that you've tried this, but, the question is, DID YOU DO IT PROPERLY? Do you want to know HOW TO DO IT PROPERLY? I'll teach you HOW TO PROPERLY RESTART YOUR HOME OR OFFICE LOCAL NETWORK. Let's get it on!

HOW TO PROPERLY RESTART YOUR HOME OR OFFICE LOCAL NETWORK?

  1. If you have a Modem, check first if you have an on and off switch. If you can't find it, you could just simply remove the power adapter at the back part of it. Usually, a power adapter would be the very first cord on the right hand side of your box, if you are looking at the back part. It is often colored black. Turn it off first, wait for at least, a full minute, before, you turn it back on.

2. Then, if you have a Router, after you restart the Modem, unplug or turn off your Router also for a minute, then, reboot it. NOW , IF YOU DON'T HAVE A ROUTER: IGNORE THIS STEP.

3. Once you get a green light on the power light of your Modem, and Router, then that's the time that you would SHUTDOWN your computer. Again, Do not just RESTART it or just unplug the power cable, make sure that you SHUT IT DOWN properly.Since, you don't want to corrupt the software or the operating system of  your computer, and create a bigger problem. Once, your computer restarts, try to get online, If that works, then, you're a GENIUS!!! Again, If all things fail, call your Tech Support Hotline.

NOTE: The steps above is guaranteed to work, if the problem is just a small glitch on your Home or Office Local Network. You have to carefully FOLLOW the steps, because, the Secret of getting it fixed would be on doing it by SEQUENCE.
